The about page always feels like there is an expectation for me to justify, or at least prove a worthiness, for the content I have created. The reality is that I profess no such expertise for this blog other than the fact that I am a human who has been making and eating food my entire life.
Previously, my experience was mostly centered around cooking. I have now added farming to my repertoire. While it is very limited and nearly inconsequential at the moment, I am journeying toward larger scale farming.
The intention of this blog is both to free myself from the unscrupulous profiteering of the current major social media platforms and to build my own space where I can create, share, and build community.
